Aglio e Olio was born from a deep passion for authentic Italian cuisine and the desire to share it with food lovers in Marrakech.
It all started with a simple idea: to create an Italian restaurant in Marrakech that respects Italian culinary traditions while adapting to the richness of local products and the unique atmosphere of the ochre city.
The name "Aglio e Olio" pays homage to the iconic dish of popular Italian cuisine – spaghetti with garlic and olive oil – a simple, sincere and flavorful dish that perfectly represents our philosophy: to do a lot with a little, but with excellence.
Our cooking draws on Italian classics: well-seasoned pasta, indulgent pizza, flavorful sauces and dishes prepared with care.
In 2024, the dream became a reality with the opening of Aglio e Olio at Domaine de Noria. The restaurant quickly established itself as a benchmark among the best Italian restaurants in Marrakech thanks to the consistent quality of its dishes, its warm atmosphere, and its attentive service.
At Aglio e Olio, we respect Italian tradition while adding a subtle Moroccan touch. Our ingredients are rigorously selected: imported extra-virgin olive oil, Italian PDO cheeses, fresh market vegetables, and quality meats. Our pasta is made by hand daily, our pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven for a light and crispy crust, and our sauces are simmered with passion.
